The thing is, Ford had a secret plan. They decided to bring onboard one of the greatest men alive, Carroll Shelby. He is the man that turned up the dial on the Mustang from 4 to 10. His name was Carroll Shelby and performance was his business. He is the man who turned and shaped Ford into what it is now because of the Mustang. It is because of him that the Mustang is so great. He would take Mustangs and tune them so they can produce even more horsepower while keeping the same chassis and body. Unfortunatley, on May 10th, 2012, Carroll Shelby passed away leaving behind memories of his work. The day he died was the day all muscle car lovers, all tuners, and even all JDM fanboys cried. He was the best of the best.

People called it "The Golden Age" of muscle cars and it really was. They were the years of rivalries forming and money being made. Not only was there a rivalry between Chevrolet and Ford, but there were rivalries with Ford and Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ferrari, Toyota and Honda.

Their battle was legendary until 2017, when Ford released a new generation of the Mustang, Chevrolet did not respond. Nowadays, people still remember the epic feud and this rivalry will be remembered till the end of days.
